… and here he is! The Blues Spiral Horse.
As you probably remember, this horse was created in white clay, but in my dreams and thoughts this was a blue horse, so I added blue acrylic paint to the horse after curing the clay.
The color accentuates the somwhat rugh surface of the body, giving more life to it as your eyes can follow and understand the shape more easily. You see, I think art is a collaboration between the artist and the person who views the art. The artist gives a hint of what could be seen, but the iece of art is not complete until the viewer has added his/her own experiences and imagination.
And that is so exciting for me as the artist. Does the viewer have the same feelings about the horse as I have, or are the thoughts totally different?
