And this is what he looks like, the Vitruvian Sleipner – when he is finished!
He is created in black polymer clay and is placed within a mobile ring, covered in mobile clay. On the ring, the story of Sleipner is told in runes.
To the surface of both the ring and the horse I have added some soft pastels in different colors to enhance the text and the carved patterns on the body.

And no, he did not win in the IPCA Awards, but he was one of the finalists. 🙂
