The hollow horse is almost ready. There has been a lot of work because it is not easy to work with hollow forms in polymer clay. I used papier maché to stabilize the horse’s body during the curing, and I used PlayDoh to make hollow canes.
As you can see, I also have attached four legs to the body and mounted it on the base. Now it looks quite proud. It is so proud because it has a secret inside – another small horse. You can see it through the holes in the body, and now I will have a lot of work making the holes smooth and round and make all the other final adjustments to give character to the horse.
