The Atomic Horse, part 4

atom_22 — For the ”bonds” I used bamboo skewers and covered them with black clay.

atom_23 — The hooves were very carefully formed.

atom_24 — The hooves were cured together with the ”stone” so I could get a both stable and perfect fit. The aluminum foil is to keep all the parts in place during the curing.

atom_25 — The result. Almost a sculpture of it’s own, isn’t it?

The legs of the molecule horse have looooong bonds between the atoms, but in the same way as I made the head very realistic, I made the hooves realistic too, As I said before, it’s all about balance. As many parts of the horse are not realistic, I have to make some of the parts realistic.
