t’s no secret – I love Colorado. And one of the reasons for that is that I have a love for mountains. Big mountains. And the Rocky Mountains certainly are BIG mountains.
In October this year I was in Colorado Springs for a week, hiking in the mountains. At my private Facebook page, you can see the amazing scenery and views that I experienced at the 2000 – 3000 meters elevation.
I have been asked if I really was at that altitude because the images clearly show that I am below the tree line. The answer is that the tree line is different in different places. Here in Sweden the tree line is at about 800 meters, while in Colorado at about 4000 meters.
Colorado’s wild nature and culture has given me inspiration to a very special Mosebacke Horse Sculpture. In the next blog posts, you will be able to follow how it was created and where I found my inspiration.
